Other creatives my age when creating characters don’t really think abt how they persive themselves,others, or how they think others persive them or any ego stuff at all unless it’s some kinda selfish character they’re writing which is funny cause it’s the first thing I think of and what I base all my characters off of entirely.like that effects so much of their character and how they navigate and interact socially how is this not something you consider
“She’s nice!” “He’s insecure” “she’s selfish” “he’s egoist” okay. Elaborate! Why do they feel this way? How have they come to this conclusion? Is it because of environmental/external reasons or internal reasons? How do they perceive themselves? Is it in contrast or the same as others?? Like this is fucking important guys. Do you wanna write “mentally ill” and craazzyy😋😛😛😛 characters?! Then make them do that but do it fucking properly
