Can you do a tutorial on opacity?
I have no idea what a tutorial on opacity would include…it’s kind of just this:
…if I had to summarise it ^^’ all it is is making a layer more or less transparent, which allows whatever is underneath to be shown or hidden. I usually use it to lessen textures on things, shadows or highlights I’ve coloured too strong, or for things like this. Other than that…yeah ^^’ sorry I can’t be more helpful, it’s not a massively in-depth thing.

doodling junk :\ I dunno...kinda gave up half way through.
My brother and I were bored, so we made a new game which he has called Pony Watch. It involves going on to DeviantArt, searching for an obscure word and seeing how long it take for a pony to come up in the newest section.
These are the rules we made:
The word you search for can't be a name, and your search must yield at least 10,000 results.
If your search is filled with too many results from the same person you have to try again (one word we tried had 7 pages of stuff from the same guy).
If there is a pony on the most popular(all time) page it's -2 for each pony (this is by image, not amount of ponies in each image)
If there is a pony on the first newest page then you pass your turn.
For every page past the first without a pony, you get 1 point (first page(0), second (1), third(2)...).
The maximum amount of points per word is 10.
If you want you can also record the name of the pony that broke your chain and yell it out in anger.
If you are playing with multiple players it is taken in turns and goes until you get bored or give up.
For example here is the round we played:
c(me)-pasta: 6 (Eyeless) a(him)-camel: 1 (Spirit) c-rice: 2 (Fluttershy) a-cover: 4 (Daft Scratch) c-table: -4 (Berry Punch/Rainbow Dash) a-rifle: 10+ c-carpet: 0 (Lucky Joe) a-curtain: 0 (Pinkie Pie) c-jetpack: -2 (Pinkie Pie) a-crystal: -2 (Crystal) c-coffin: 5 (Hoofman) a-umbrella: 0 (Dixie) c-7 a-13
You could also exchange ponies for anything else really, we just noticed that they came up most commonly.
I wanted to make this tutorial thingy before the glow effect one, but this one had a littttle bit more typing to do.
This only covers the basics of how I go about making patterns in Photoshop :O there are a bunch of different ways you can approach making patterns and ways to combine the stuff here!
oh, and feel free to pinch any of the patterns used in this if you want a couple of basics!

oh hey it's a tutorial on glowing stuff I guess...I already made one 2 years ago but I don't make things glow like that any more :|
...also when I'm manually doing colours I pick things like this as if I was shading.
there's a lot more I could put in as well, but it really varies on the picture how I do the glow...it is usually just fiddling around with styles and colours though.

I had a dream last night where I was living in some kind of warehouse like hostel , I went into my room which was very small with sleeping bags on the floor. Then I went in to the bathroom which was at least 10 times bigger and Tony Abbott and his extended family where living in there...they told me I had to have a shower somewhere else...
And out of all the weird crap in the dream, this is what confuses me :|
things I forgot to stick in that colour thing from a week ago that I only just remembered . ______ . probably not as helpful but oh well...
also the colours between magenta and red in the last one should probably be swapped around, in greyscale they're the same but there's a little bit of stippling on all of them so it's hard to tell the difference...
