the initial hunting mission where they TALK. ARTHUR SPEAKS DIFFERENTLY WITH CHARLES THAN HE DOES WITH ANYONE ELSE. they never sass each other or needle each other, Charles never calls him any variation of “dumb”. they just respect each other and get to know one another and do their best and nobody else ever does that with Arthur proper
that last mission where they break out [BLANK] and Arthur TELLS HIM ABOUT [BLANK] WHEN HE LITERALLY HASN’T SPOKEN TO ANYONE ELSE ABOUT THIS.......AND CHARLES TRIES TO HELP HIM COPE WHEN EVERYONE ELSE JUST IGNORES IT OR BULLIES HIM.......and they’re so in sync and then that HUG THEY SHARE..........THEY’RE SO TENDER WITH ONE ANOTHER AND THE TRUST THAT THEY SHARE IS SO IMMENSE........Charles’ “Oh, Arthur....... 😟” YOU CHOSE THE RIGHT PERSON TO CONFIDE TO, ARTHUR................he loves u sm even if r*ckst*r won’t let him.......
honestly the entirety of chapter 6 is such a goldmine for Charles and Arthur’s interactions...............nobody else cares so much about each other as they do
