i went into it with a vague idea of the plot, knowing it was based off of a book series, thinking "let's see where this goes", i was totally oblivious...and then 10 minutes after i pressed play something went din din din in my brain. there was a tingling, a something β¨β¦a recognition. so i paused.
BASICALLY, when they showed that the main guy lives in a house with his teammates friends i was like "...this sounds familiar?? am i confusing it with another book series? or was it a fanfic from back in the days??" i couldn't keep watching until i solved the mystery, so i checked my calibre and LOOK

in my defence, i read a shitton of books and the romances all become a single, giant, fuzzy blur after a while.

one does not simply use a vampire sim as a base for a human sim by removing the occult status in cas, and expect no consequences.
i made a totes normal human sim back in november 2025 (;-;) and today was the time to plop her in my save. as soon as i was in live mode that's how she looked. and all her outfits were this ^^ btw.
i was in complete befuddlement of course.
after various attempts at fixing her, including: taking her back into cas and replacing her with a fresh library version, thinking it was just make-up but i couldn't find a way to remove the eye veins, realising i probably used a vampire base so i tried another occult status, a human-vampire-back to human cas sequence, always replacing her with her library copy after all the attempts failed and being greeted with *that* in-game every single time - in the end all i had to do was simply make her a vampire in cas and then quick-cure her in live mode with the traits.remove_trait trait_Occult[Type] cheat.
i'm on a potato laptop so all the back and forth took me like 2 hours yikes π
