So I want to make an oracle card deck with Roman polytheism-based symbols and omens.

I’m used to cartomancy as my divination method of choice for religious endeavors, but as a sort of devotional act, I thought it would be really nice to create a deck that used symbols drawn from Roman divination. Meeting the gods halfway on terms of communication They have been previously accustomed to, I guess.

However, I’m pretty new at cultus deorum. And I want to do my research thoroughly, obviously.

So, does anyone have A) suggestions for symbols and B) suggestions for books, articles, web pages, whatever, that are good sources on Roman divination and/or symbology?

Any other suggestions are welcome as well for making this more logical.
