"You know.." Tali turned to him and scoffed
"I should've said no the day you asked me to try...to talk.." She laughed in spite, feeling like a fool. She looked up into his brown eyes, looking for an answer.
"Had I known you were going to leave me one day hurt me because of your bitter judgment and anger..." She spit out, like venom. His heart ached at her words and the guilt rushing in again.
"But I let in you in anyway...taking that risk, just to see if maybe I can love again, to see if I have hope." Still making eye contact not breaking it once and he could see the anger and hurt in her eyes grow with each word she muttered.
"And you know what I have learned?" She asked him walking up to him closing the space between them.
"What?" His breath hitched, afraid what she was going to say.
"I don't, especially with a guy like you."
