there's really no easy way to say it, but...
hi, mod speaking!!
i think it's about time i officially throw in the towel for this blog. i haven't been interested in sams for months, nearing a whole year by now, but i kept this place going cause i loved all the reoccurring folks here (and i still do!) and it made me happy to create and cultivate this lil space
but, i no longer have the time nor motivation to continue coming up with responses and queueing confessions. not to mention most members of TCF have either moved onto other fandoms as well, or are uninterested in returning to their roles ^^'
what does that mean for this blog? is it going bye-bye?
nope! im just gonna put it away in like a little museum box. it wont be deleted, just a memorial of some past and hopefully fun memories from my times as this strange little solar-shaped showhost
all the confessions in my inbox will be put into the queue, i am going to move the queue from 5 posts a day to 3, and then- come tomorrow (4/15/25), whenever i wake up and get online, im officially closing my confessions. aka- confess away to your hearts content for the final, like.. 20-ish hours you have left to!!! go ahead, lay yourself bare, your most secret, crack-shippiest ships and scenarios! go for it!!! a one-and-only-time deal!!!

So, this week's Solivaga update might come on Thursday or next week if it doesn't come tomorrow, on account of Procreate Broke Their Text Tools (in the Latest Major Update) They're apparently aware of the issue and working to fix it, but I don't know how fast that will be pooted back down the pipeline. Until then, the text formatting options are all broken. The biggest issue being I can't set a negative leading, which means ( ALL THE LETTERING LOOKS LIKE THIS IT DEFINITELY CREATES A VERY INTERESTING TONE TO THE DIALOG) The options are to either wait for a fix, or do a temp lettering job on this page, aka rasterize text and select tool to move it to the correct spacing and formatting, while hand lettering the rest of it (because one of the fonts I want to use on this one is especially... spacious. without proper formatting) It isn't a terribly involved page as far as lettering goes, but I guess WE'LL SEE. you'll either get the new page tomorrow or you'll get it when the procreate gods deliver unto me a harvest of Typography Tools to see me through the winter. Let's find out how it goes!!
