#.... ruby?

Deltarune, as far as we know, is a game that canonically takes place in a week. While Ruby is still extremely sick, we still see he is able to walk/talk fine. He's weakly but not on deaths doorstep.

But add noelle into the equation, and that's when, from a storytelling perspective, things get really messy.

Noelle has enough on her plate. her sister went missing when she was presumably a small child, and her mother is shown to be somewhat mentally abusive. And Im not even talking about weird route!!

I could talk about this for hours, but I'm trying to keep it short(ish). What Carol is up to or if Dess is safe seems more likely on Tobys' agenda. Noelle grieved for her dad when she's LITTEARLLY part of a prophecy would rub me the wrong way. WE DONT HAVE TIME FOR THAT!! Just because he died in Undertale doesn't mean he needs to die in deltarune.
