1.Favourite book?

So many that I can’t even name them all. Right now The Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare since I’m currently re-reading the first one (City of Bones).

I love all my books equally though, which is a lot.

2.Favourite author?

Again, a lot but probably Cassandra Clare (TMI) and Veronica Roth (Divergent). Oh, and let’s not forget Mr. John Green. He’s so awesome and really smart.

3. What are you most excited for right now?

Starting acting classes again soon and getting more into what I’ve always wanted to do with my life. A little nervous, but excited. Also, seeing TMI: CoB movie again tomorrow and possibly Sunday too :)

4. How many siblings do you have?

1, a 14 year old younger sister named Erin

5. Favourite singer/band?

I love Imagine Dragons right now (I wish I was going to their concert in September… sigh) and I love Marina & the Diamonds. I also love Lana Del Rey and Taylor Swift. Oh! And Maroon 5 (especially their older songs)… I love music so I have a lot of favorites (especially indie pop and alternative but if I like it, I like it).

7. Where is your dream vacation?

Currently, I’d like to go to Los Angeles again but my dream vacation? To travel all over, really. I really want to go to Australia and I’ve always wanted to go to Rio in Brazil and Paris.

8. Favourite TV show?

New Girl. I gotta… it’s been consuming my life and feels for the past year pretty much. I’ve never had an experience with a show before like I have with it. I’ve never been so attached. There are so many others that I love too that are still running and are re-runs. Friends and Gossip Girl are another two that I’ve been obsessed with.

9. If you had three wishes, what would they be?

1) Become an actress and filmmaker (and possibly musician but we’ll see) with a respectable career (I’m working on making this come true right now)

2) To not be such a procrastinator (same as past answer, I wish for this too)

3) To not have my health problems or any of the symptoms that come along with it anymore (hypothyroidism and some disease that I forgot the name of, which I forgot because of it and my hypo due to forgetfulness… see [one of the reasons] why I hate it? It just overall sucks and I’m stuck with it for the rest of my life [disclaimer: it could most definitely be worse so I’m thankful it’s not however])

10. Celebrity crush?

Jamie Campbell Bower, Robert Sheehan, Kevin Zegers, Godfrey Gao, Aidan Turner :) (I agree with this past answer as well ;)) AND Dylan O’Brien and Skylar Astin!

11. Dream job?

I’m an aspiring actress and filmmaker, so take a guess ;) I pretty much always have been dreaming to become those, especially acting. I have a lot of other side careers/projects I’d like to do though and I’m pretty determined to do them all so you’ll find out those when I get to them ;) I pretty much want to be a creative businesswoman…

QUESTIONS TAGGED FOR ME (seriously awesome questions btw):

1. Favourite food?

Pasta and anything with pasta so Italian food in general :)

2. Favourite book OTP?

OH MY GOD DON’T MAKE ME CHOOSE! I don’t even know if this is even possible for me to choose omg D: I feel like slamming my head on my desk right now a couple times trying to decide this… I’m going to go with Clace (Clary and Jace from TMI) since I’m in a huge TMI haze and have been for the past at least month. I loved them in the movie too so yes them. I’m also going to say Naria (Noel and Aria from PLL) since they’ve been getting absolutely no love from the show and it makes me angry (kinda not even watching the show anymore because it angers me so much and because of all the changes from the books) so I’ll show them some love now :)

3. Favourite quote?

It’s a tie. “This too shall pass” (relates to me and makes me feel better during almost anything) and “Stop saying ‘I wish’ and start saying ‘I will’.” :)

Favorite book quote: “It’s your gift [as an artist], to see the beauty and the horror in ordinary things. It doesn’t make you crazy, just different.” (Luke, TMI: City of Bones) I just connect to it in so many ways and it was so comforting to me when I read it because I think every artist has felt crazy at least once. Yeah, I know he’s just covering up for the sight and all but I think Cassie was actually talking to artists and storytellers like myself through that quote. TMI is so important to me because it made me realize the beauty in being able to have the power to create (Matched reminded me of that as well).

4. Have you ever met anyone famous?

Yup! I’ve seen at least 20 or so in person but I’ve only met and got an autograph from one and it just so happens to be one of my top role models of all time: Lauren Conrad last year. She’s seriously so sweet and inspirational and I even got to have a conversation with her and she gave me advice about the entertainment industry and we talked about LA and even talked about TMI (she’s a book lover too) and Lily Collins (and even told me about something that happened on The Hills involving her that wasn’t on the show and how sweet Lily is who, by the way, is another huge role model of mine) so it was a really memorable moment. I’m hoping she won’t be the last I’ll meet either (especially of my role models) :)

5. Worst habit?

Being a drama queen probably but it’s all on how you look at it. It’ll be great for acting ;) Also just any of my OCD habits really (especially when painting).

6. Do you believe in ghosts?

Yup, I’ve had way too many experiences that can’t be explained any other way to not believe in them. In fact, I wouldn’t answer this survey late last night when I originally saw the message that I was tagged because stuff always happens when I should be sleeping (I think it’s like my great grandma telling me to go to bed already or something) and I’m thinking or talking about them so I try not to that late when I’m the only one awake. So I couldn’t answer this question without thinking of past experiences and them and stuff. Eh, I’m just superstitious like that…

7. Do you have any nicknames?

My name’s Elizabeth so oh hell yes. They start to get really weird and oddly creative after a while. As you can tell, I mainly go by “Lizzie” as my nickname but I’m fine with any other nicknames except for “Liz”. I think of like a “Great Aunt Liz”  or something when someone calls me that so I just prefer not to be but I won’t correct you if you do.

8. When did you join Tumblr?

Oh, God. When did I? Um… I think right before the summer before my sophomore year of high school (I’m going into my senior year so do the math). My awesome cousin, Ariel, introduced me to tumblr and I’m so incredibly thankful she did.

9. Give out a piece of advice on surviving life.

You’re never going to be fully satisfied and happy until you stop truly caring about what other people think about you, the things you like, the things you do, the things they do, etc and stop comparing anything (careers, lives, movies, books, talents, etc). Just go out and live the life you want and be the person you want to be because guess what, IT’S POSSIBLE I PROMISE. [and please use that in a positive way… just saying…]

Biggest life lesson I’ve ever learned but unfortunately it usually doesn’t set into your brain until you learn it for yourself most likely the hard way. Warning though, it doesn’t just happen overnight so just keep trying to and, yes, sometimes you can fall off the wagon and start caring again but just keep working to get back to not caring. It’s seriously the key to happiness. And just be positive. Life doesn’t have to be negative if you don’t make it that way.

10. Have you been in any major accidents? eg Car accident, skiing accident etc

I’ve been in a sledding accident when I was little in Minnesota and really seriously hurt my neck but I was okay. I also was in a stop-and-go traffic accident about a little over a year ago coming home from a state championship high school football game at a major stadium (which we won… just gonna put that out there wink wink) with my family and the girl behind us was on her phone and not looking and ran into us and I was looking out the window so I had some bad whiplash and we had to go to the chiropractor for a while but we were all fine. Luckily, I had a feeling I should put my seat belt on seriously right before it happened or else, where I was sitting in the back, I would probably go through the windshield even with just that little bit of force. I guess guardian angels really do exist :) I don’t know, any car accident is a weird experience and I can’t really explain how it feels but I don’t want to feel it again.

11. Favourite colour? 

Neon pink! I also really like red and the color combination of hot pink, black, and white (hence my url)

and sometimes I wake up and can't even believe this is my life because most of the time, it's completely unreal how lucky I am

we haven't seen each other since we all split up for college - and taylor/mary started their senior year of high school holla holla

I'm totally aware that I've been absent, and that's super lame, and yeah.

But

Here's the reason for my absence.

I've been working like hell to finish the second draft of the first book in my teen fantasy series, trying to get it to sparkle before sending it in to any agents. And I've finally finished it! (andomgi'mjustreallyexcitedokayican'tevenrightnowahhhhhhhhh) Right now I'm eagerly awaiting feedback from test readers as well as deciding whether or not to add on a couple of other readers - Courtney and Taylor and Kate, I'm looking at all of you - as well as researching literary agents in the hopes of finding someone who is interested in my story. I'm also currently working on a blog to promote my book, or at least get the word out, and find out if people are interested in it - because agents like knowing whether or not their client's target audience is going to want to read their book. Anyway, that's what's been going on in my life. And I know I've apologized again and again for my absence, and you are all already aware how much I totally suck, etc, etc. But I just thought I'd let you all know that I'm still alive, and I haven't fallen off of the face of the earth, and that my book is done. I'll be around more often now. (I really will try to be, I swear!) And I'll hopefully have more information soon. :)
