Like,, ppl can ship what they want, right? Im just,,, g onna rant a bit,, about hooked wayfinder,,, just bc i have nowhere else to.

I loved the movie Moana. It was amazing. I loved the relationship between Moana and Maui but it all came off as platonic… and thats amazing. Moana is 14-16. Maui is not only thousands of years old, but he’s also portrayed as a full-grown adult. And idk i just get so d arn uncomfortable with that ship??? And its not bc of anything abt who they are, but the fact of their ages, and how brotherly and sisterly their relationship seemed to be. And like this isnt even a rant moreso me expressing my opinion on how much i dislike that ship. (And i strongly headcanon ace/aro moana but e h) Despite my headcanons, i still find it unsettling. As ive said, Moana is around 14-16 and she is being shipped with not only an immortal, but someone eho is portrayed as a fully grown late 20s- early 30s adult. Its unsettling and makes me uncomfortable.

What I find the most disturbing though, and I'm not sure how many people are aware, but it's believed Tumblr is in the process of being geared, chopped, and rearranged to be a competitor for Youtube; even at the cost of its userbase.

Everytime I see one of these updates now, I can't help but believe it to be true, and it highly frustrates me. -
