Slowly, almost afraid, she pressed her lips to his. A chaste kiss, as if tasting the temperature of the water before deciding to jump and after a second, she jumped.

Rumiko wrapped her arms around Anthony’s neck, pulling him as close as she could as she moved her lips, kissing Anthony in a tender manner, caring and different from any other kiss she had ever given. It was like being able to breathe for the first time, like opening her eyes after spending too much time in the pitch darkness. It was like coming home. With her fingers tangled in his hair, her body pressed to his, her arms around him, stopping her from falling because the kiss was making her weak on her knees. 

Three words spoken in a different language, one he hoped Anthony would understand.

I love you. 

It took him a moment to realize what she was doing, the cast kiss made him think that was all. Anthony placed his hand on her hips instinctively to keep her close and then she had her arms wrapped around his neck and their lips were pressed together. Hell if he had been waiting for a kiss like this for days, weeks. He wanted it to be perfect and this was, only by the fact that she was the one kissing him first, he loved it.

Anthony closer his eyes and smiled, he was grinning like a silly boy on christmas because this moment was more than he could imagine, the feeling of her hands, her body, the taste of her mouth and the smell of her breathing, all of it making his head spin.
