I think he blew up at ribbit, later causing her abstraction.
Jax is gonna become super powerful because even though people are real he'll still treat them like toys because he knows he'll never get out and instead of being himself and accepting it, he decides to shove the happy and kind version of himself down until it basically doesn't exist and is turned into hatred but with his newfound power, the first thing he does is bring back ribbit.
Or that's probably a flashback.
