Errands are hard, man. He had to walk all the way down the street to get a few things for the office, but he was already exhausted. As soon as he got in, he set the bags down on the table and practically dove for the couch. It must have been pretty comfortable for him too, because he was out like a light in seconds...
...or he would have been, if not for the person sitting on the couch across from him whom he hadn’t noticed until speaking up.
“Um... e-excuse me...?”
This caused him to practically leap up, clearing his throat and basically forcing himself to wake up.
“O-oh, sorry, I, uh... didn’t see you there.” He says, obviously more than a little embarrassed by the whole display. One last throat clearing before he nods. “Well, that aside, how can I help you today?”
