Hi! Of course ! There’s a lot of info on Rine already out there, the Doctor has her own series :D On AO3 or on tumblr with the tag -9000

Dr Rine is a OC I created to explore the Cold/Frieza empire a bit. I think it’s a shame we don’t get to see a bit more of the nitty gritty details of how a space empire works! We get glimpses but I wanted more aliens! (Also it’s an excuse to draw Raditz cause I’m a big fan)

She’s an eminent doctor who works with different levels of warriors of the empire, mostly specialised one (like the saiyans and other special forces), to ensure their physical health is always perfect. A big part of her work is to improve protocoles and treatments. She played a big part in updating the liquids of healing tanks. Although she is big on following rules and protocols, when it comes to her personal research, Rine can get a little more… flexible. Going as far as to make her friends forge documents so she can study the mutating genes of certain species! (you guessed it her favourite subject is saiyans).

Dr Rine is a law-abiding citizen, whatever that means under the Frieza Empire. Most of the time, it's all about following her superiors' orders, whims and wishes. Whatever they need, she delivers. Medicine, research protocol, mass sti medication for all warriors? Done. For 90% of her career, she hasn't even stolen a dose of painkillers. 10%... Well. Her passion for biology and transformation has come with some risk. She's very thankful to have friends who work in different departments. Berry, who works in the administrative branch of their home base, is an expert in affectation. Nana, with her never-ending curiosity in communication technologies, might have found a way to block energy detection...

Her assistant wasn't very clear with the instructions. They tried to open the tanks themselves, which led them to half-explode and spew regeneration liquid everywhere.

She'll be happy to see them as soon as her assistant has mopped all the juice.

Don't worry Doctor, they are coming back soon. For better or for worse.

Doctor Rine's secret research has sadly come to a halt. On her own little free time, she's been looking into species who transform. This might be the who reason she took the quite dangerous job in the first place. She gained access to a lot of strong warriors with power up transformation and her project is finding out what happens in their system. She hasn't yet thought of what purpose it could serve, honestly it's more about the scientific curiosity (she might or might not have obsessed over butterflies and catterpilar as a child).

And saiyans just have the best of the best transformations. Reptilian races are no strangers to transformation, after all they come out of so small eggs sometimes! Some do entirely remake their bodies, some shed them. And it is all fascinating but mammals transforming? Seven Hells.

Dr Rine is in such a state of distraught that her friends might find a way to keep the three men in training for a little while longer this time. It would be a shame if no mission suited their talents for a few months. Maybe Berry can find something to assign to them that won't require all of them to go. That would be neat.

I think this might be a little disappointing because I don't really have that much wips 😔 I put everything in the same big document and that's that 😅 I tend not to branch out too much once I work on something because my creative juice is already drained by my job! (only sharing fanfic wips btw)

Sea Salt and Sun : does it count as a WIP? I put everything in the same doc so technically yeah? I've got some various scenes drafted up to a year forward of the chapter online at the moment

Hyrule Countryside : the first fic I started to write when I got back into fandoms! I wrote it purely for me, to get back into writing :) it follows the whole life of a bird farmer/ forager Sage from her childhood in Haneto to her adult life on the road and in the Zora Domain. She's a childhood friend of Kass because I just wanted to write about him and have him sing more songs. I wanted to explore the relationship between the different people of Hyrule before Link comes around and after :) basically I was writing my own little fic inspired by the lore of Rito Chronicles ^^ (that's also why I wouldn't publish it) I've said it before but it was this mastodon of a work by @unmaskedcardinal got me back to writing and interacting with fandoms as an adult.

-9000 : a dbz fanfic that isn't textual but an addition of funny, ridiculous and sometimes heartfelt and steamy fancomics about Doctor Rine and her two friends, Nana and Berry as members of the Frieza Empire (and later on earth too!)

This is really something I want to work more on, it just cracks me up! (feature lots of Raditz because, come on, he's fun)

I have so many fun mini comics I made with the Saiyans and my doctor Rine 😭 I just need to find the time to finish them before I forget how to draw these goofballs…

Rine is such a precious lady to me, extremely smart, stubborn and carrier oriented in a world dominated by strength and super powers. If you thought that Biri has a low moral compass, Rine has none. But don’t blame her, she’s part of the evil cold empire after all 🧊
