brown, gets a bit more red with exposure to summer sun. Once upon a time it was dyed emerald green, but it was so much work to keep it that way.

sunny yellow and green

Green tea with raspberry in summer, spiced chai in winter, anything fruity for alcohol (sex on the beach, fuzzy navel, bahama mama, etc)

my eyes? And my eye for fashion (for OCs and others, not myself. I just wear what's comfy)

if you could be any animal, what would you be?:

My fursona is a brown bear, but realistically I'd want to be a housecat

dream place to visit:

I'd really like to go back to Japan. The last time I went I was 13, tagging along with a friend whose family was from Japan. I'd like to be able to make my own plans and itinerary.

what's one thing you're looking forward to right now?:

I'll give you 2! We've got an event we call Phrawgcon, where all of my sister-in-law's friends come into town. It's an annual thing, and they've become my friends and my spouse's friends as well. This year the event runs 12 days and covers 2 weekends, so even though I couldn't take off work this year I'll still be able to hang out and see everyone since my apartment is like 5 minutes away from the AirBnB.

And then only 3 days later another friend is coming to visit!

your biggest dream:

I... don't really have one at the moment. I'm physically disabled and have a hard time making concrete goals because I don't know if my body will get worse. I'd like to visit more museums, but those don't tend to have enough benches to sit on. I'd like to see more live theatre, but the seating in smaller community and college theatres is often painful for me to sit in. I want to visit botanical gardens and aquariums, but those entail a lot of walking with no convenient seating.

My natural dark blond. It's the first time its been this colour for this long in the past 15 years xD it was red, white, grey, pink, pastel green, pastel blue...

Pink, but it has to be from a pure red. No magenta or anything.

Cold, Violet cordial with sparkling water

one thing you love about yourself:

My feet x) I walk barefoot a lot and they are solid and rough and confortable. I can move my toes individually and walk on gravel.

if you could be any animal, what would you be?:

Probably an orca. Or a horse to run very fast.

dream place to visit:

Quite basic by Japan sure is one. My sister made me a personalised guide and whenever the money comes, we can go together.

what's one thing you're looking forward to right now?:

Finishing my webcomic, it would be a great thing because I need to close some of my projects this year.

your biggest dream:

Create a piece of media that has enough success to have a proper fan base. Having people make fanart, theories, edits, fics, wiki, whatever. Knowing I inspired passion about a universe in people like many creators did for me :)

in theory, only a very limited population can be slaves, as seen by the bidding list at Sabaody

So in theory, places like Alabasta and Water 7 could use the slave trade to get rid of their criminals, but ostensibly it’s a practice that’s illegal and most places don’t know that it still exists. Not even the more worldly Straw Hats who keep up with the news knew about it until they actually got to Sabaody (except maybe Robin, and even then it’s not clear). Presumably any leaders who frequent Mariejois for the Reverie would know, but that only has 50 seats and there are more than 250 nations in the WG. Despite how many slaves the Celestial Dragons kill, they’re really only supplying labor for 19 families and one island. Other rich people were seen at the auction house at Sabaody, but you’d have to guess that’s severely limited by the hazardous travel of the Grand Line. The use of slaves just isn’t a thing we see much outside the 1% of the 1% richest people in the world.

to be clear, I believe younger artists and minors can write good fics (not to say “fanfic must always be good” either because it is a hobby and I still believe that as long as it’s done with love and the artist’s joy, it is good) and I believe it’s good when younger artists and minors start making art at young ages.

that said, a lot of fanfics out there that you read and love are done by adults with kids, jobs and responsibilities. adults who have years, decades of practice under their belts. adults who don’t let life and responsibilities take away their joy in creating.

My husband went on a Predator frenzy recently. Since last year, he had an Alien phase, I kinda didn't care. I watched all the Aliens with him and likes them but sometimes, I want to engage so much more with the source material and he's just "that was a great movie. Better visual effect than the last/ the action was a little disappointing / cool that they expend on the lore.

I want to go back and dissect the movie line by line.

So. When he asked if I wanted to see Preadator, i said no thank you. BUT BUT BUT. Prey.

I am quite keen on franchise when new directors come in and do something new. So i accept, i watch it.

And man do i struggle to keep it together. The clicking, the purring, the noises. The muscles for no reasons ?

Then we watch the animated movie. Same.
