Jude was incredibly excited to get some alone time with Lena again. She was beautiful, and he had a really good time with her, and he was constantly hoping to learn more about her and get to know her better. When he’d been told by some of the crew that there was a really great boat ride through hidden parts of the city, Jude had an instinct that Lena would really enjoy it. The lavish dates didn’t really seem like her sort of thing - though he couldn’t resist the suggestion to end the night at the Eiffel Tower as it lit up the skyline.

Jude was fascinated by Bella and everything he knew about her. She’d had a bit of a rocky upbringing, but she was a beautiful, brilliant woman who was open to having Bee in her life. Already, even on their first week when they hadn’t had a date, Bella had shown Jude what Paris had to offer and helped him choose something to bring back to Arizona to Bee. Bella was truly a wonderful woman and he was excited for what their next week would bring. 

Jude knew that there was a lot more to Alex than just art, but he also knew that art meant a lot to the man. Even though he did interior design for a living, it was clear that he was passionate about making and displaying his own personal art. He gifted Jude with a painting when they first met, and he was making another now just so Jude could preserve the memory of being in Paris with him. Alex was indescribably sweet and romantic and he’d caught Jude’s attention, even being the most timid one remaining. Something about Alex drew him in and left him constantly hoping for more.

You sat there a moment, contemplating his last message.

If nothing else, you met many interesting sorts in the trade. It could've been no more than a peculiar word choice, but it sat at the back of your mind nonetheless as you dressed and prepped. It paid to trust your instincts. You'd had a long time to hone them.

The carapacians always insist you wear your best when you attended to highbloods, so you've chosen the black dress from eastern alternia this time. You try to sneak out before any of the carapacians notice you either, but your luck had been used up on sneaking back from Dave's unnoticed, and as you approach the elevator one happens to spot you. A few half-hearted protests later and you're wrangled into getting your hair pinned up again via a hair-tugging struggle. Once your scalp is stinging and your curls are somehow tamed into a loose bun she lets the guards escort you up to the main transportalizer. Since your visit to Slick, it seems like they're watching you a little more closely again.
