Okay. I am not a good artist. Like at all- but I do like to do art and today i decided to try something new. I decided to try a multi-medium painting. In this painting I used colored pencils, brush markers, water colors using a paint brush, water colors using cotton balls, charcoal, and oil pastels. It turned out better than I thought it was going to- I had gotten my initial design and base color down with the pencil and brush markers then got to everything else and I had a lot of fun doing it. This is Dem. She is an OC created by @tacoisfandomtrash who is a really awesome human. I had painted this as a suprize for Taco and boy am I lucky I took a picture before I sprayed the coating on it to preserve everything. My mother told me that she has the proper clear spray for this type of thing. I asked her if she was sure and she said yes. So I sprayed it with a light coat. An hour and a half later I go to check on it and this is what the spray did to my painting that I spent easily SIX HOURS on, maybe even more. This is the result of my mom saying that some random spray was okay to use on my artwork:

four years ago, i did a little comic for their fic event horizon. i've learned a lot about watercolors since then and wanted to redo it for their thirtieth.

i can't tell you how much sara means to me. we became friends almost five years ago when i found a fic they'd written about claire novak, way before she'd come back to the show. since then, i've moved from texas to boston and back, ended a relationship, finished grad school, got my first big kid job - had more crises than i could count. and throughout the whole thing, sara has been the most consistent person in my life. i'm so grateful for their time and love and all the projects we've worked on together, all the art we've made that i suspect has propelled us through some of the hardest parts of becoming adults.
