its so absurd how aro characters are still drafted into shipping culture. i mean an aro character could look into the camera and say "i am aromantic, i do not feel romantic attraction and i have 0 desire to be in a relationship ever under any circumstances even if it was a platonic relationship" and ppl would still pair them off with someone. if you are not comfortable with acknowledging that aro characters are more than shipping fuel and that you should be able to like aro characters without feeling the need to put them into relationships you need to investigate why bc its literally so bad
