i really dont get the headcanon people have that luffy would call crocodile his mom like first of all luffy is Mr Woke i think hed be able to handle the concept of crocodile being a trans man and calling him his father if he wanted to and second of all luffy has never been raised in a traditional family unit and clearly doesnt prioritize his biological relatives (ie him not even considering that he could have a father when garp tells him abt dragon and never really seeming all that interested in learning about dragon once he knows) i honestly think the headcanon comes from a mixture of the fandom infantilizing luffy and being casually transphobic towards crocodile both of which are incredibly annoying to see normalized to the point that they are. if anything i think luffy would probably still call crocodile by his name and if someone asked why hed say something like "i dont like that guy" and move on. luffy only has 1 mother figure and thats dadan!!!!!

one of the things i have super mixed feelings on about my job is the playlist. at a spirit halloween youd think itd be all spooky gothy music but apparently the normie who made it doesnt know a lot of spooky songs bc its like 35% spooky halloween music and 65% pop songs. so much imagine dragons. but then even some of the spooky songs arent even spooky. like tell me why Feed My Frankenstein by Alice Cooper was playing, which, if you look at the lyrics, is about eating someone out. barely even commits to any spooky imagery. the frankenstein is his dick spirit. the frankenstein is his dick.
