What's inbox trick-or-treating?

It's like normal trick-or-treating, but instead of knocking on doors you send people asks! Just send one that says "trick or treat!" to participate. In return, I'll answer with either a "treat"... Or a trick 👀!

Should I be worried about the "tricks"?

Not at all! There won't be any flashing images or jumpscares or anything, so no need to fear.

Francis: We are mixing it up this year, of course.

Smidge: You aren't supposed to tell them that, it ruins the surprise!!!

Francis: Granted, I'm not sure Smidge really understands what a "trick" is. But they are having fun, so I suppose I'll be on the hunt for "treats" in return...

Smidge insisted on giving the "tricks" a try, so I'm sure he'll fit in stickers somehow... Who knows what Francis considers a "treat" though! (Hint: he probably takes it very literally.)

Can I send multiple asks?

Of course! Send as many asks as you like, though I encourage you to have a different "costume" each time, whatever that means for you :] Have some fun with it!

How long is this going for?

I'm going to have mine (officially) open from 10/30-11/1, so a day before and after Halloween. Mostly because I know some people are busy and miss the day, and because I want this awesome art in my pinned for as long as possible :P

Can I do this on my blog?

Absolutely!!! It's tradition, even. Usually you just let people know you're doing it, either by reblogging a post like this one, a more simplistic one like this one, or by making a little announcement :] If you rb or reply to this post I'll try to swing by and trick-or-treat on your blog from my main!
