I just wanted to ask if someone had had similar reactions from antidepressants (ssris in particular) where they seem to work for a week or two, and then all goes back to crap again? like this is the third one I've tried and I'm losing hope :( ~*star*)

It usually takes 3-4 weeks for SSRIs and other antidepressants to take effect. So make sure you’re giving them enough time to work!
It’s good that you’re trying antidepressants, but are you also in therapy? I’m a firm believer that the best treatment for mental illness is a combination of both medication and therapy, not just one or the other. So if you aren’t already in therapy, please look into it, it might make a huge difference!
Have you talked to your doctor about this, love? I know that sometimes it can take a while to find the right medication for you. It takes a lot of trial and error. So please don’t give up hope yet. Keep trying different things, and I truly believe that eventually you will find something that works for you!
