is anyone else getting nervous about how a lot of art programs (esp ones standardized in the professional industry) have swapped to a subscription rather than a steep pay-to-own license and in the worst case, are punishing artists who have already purchased a lifetime license of sorts. is anyone else noticing how even programs stated they're free have removed things like even a one-time ad removal fee in exchange for a subscription that gives your BACK your ability to save on a cloud, or draw uninterrupted? yanno, things that already existed and were available prior to the subscription, and are arguably vital for the experience? is anyone else really terrified about this?
