I’m going to start a spoiler/rumor sheet to keep updating for the pilot, and will do one for other episodes as well.

One used to be around during Supernatural times for a while, and I want to make sure for my own crappy memory I remember what we know so far. 

As of 3/15/2022

- DEADLINE CONFIRMS CASTING 

EXCLUSIVE: Nida Khurshid (Station 19) and newcomer Jojo Fleites are set as series regulars, the first to be cast, in CW’s The Winchesters drama pilot. The project hails from Supernatural trio Robbie Thompson, Jensen Ackles and Daneel Ackles, Warner Bros. Television and CBS Studios. Glen Winter (Supergirl, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow) will direct and executive produce the pilot.

- According to Film New Orleans, production is slated to start April 1st and end June 30th. Though, at this time I’m not sure if that’s just the window of their filming license or when actual production will start. But hey! It’s a window! [ thanks you @teamfreewill2pointo​ for bringing this to my attention!] 

- Rumors of two casting choices: Jonathan Fleites and Drake Rodger. 

The rumors started when Danneel followed Jonathan (Jojo) on Instagram. A few days later, Jojo started to follow Drake and Robert J. Ulrich who is a casting director. Jojo is also now following The CW, Warner Bros. TV, and Jensen in the last few days.

As always, these are rumors, and waiting on official announcements. 

- Rumored pilot Director Glen Winter posted a photo on his Instagram account from Louisiana, likely location scouting ahead of filming in April.
