So my post about fic characters swearing gained a lot more traction than I expected it to, and it’s interesting to see the responses it garners. There’s a small amount of weird pearl-clutching about “if characters don’t canonically swear there’s NO NEED to make them swear in fics!!!” that I’m not really on board with (it feels a bit reminiscent of “there’s no need for sex scenes!!”) but mostly it consists of people going “let so-and-so say fuck” and it’s a different character every time.

When I was really really little I apparently drew and wrote a thing called Paper Mario 2 which actually predicted some of superstar saga but the best part was mario reunites with luigi, proceeds to beat a couple of big enemies, and mario appreciates luigi a lot i guess? I don’t know if luigi helped but he was appreciated nonetheless. Mario then got sick and then it just abruptly ends. It never went further than that. Did mario die??? Did he get better???? Did luigi have to help or???? Four year old me i am begging u
