   HITOMI: Oh? Atlas came.

   AURORA: Huh, where?

   HITOMI: He’s just standing by the door. I’m surprised his parents didn’t come.

   ANTWAN: To be fair, none of our parents did. 

   ANTWAN: He’s been standing there for a while though. Perhaps, we should invite him over?

   AURORA: Sure- Oh, look! It’s Ms Takagi!

   HITOMI: Oh wow, her and her partner look amazing together - would it be weird to wave at them now?

   KEISHA: Why won’t you look at that - Atlas really came to the gala! Look Tess!

   TESS: I know, I told you he would - do you doubt me?

   KEISHA: Of course not! But I do doubt a Delcroix. And a Takahashi on top of that! A dangerous combo indeed.

   ETHREN: Hmmm, I heard that he made a visit to our place when we were out. 

   KEISHA: Oh yes, that did happen. Interesting stuff you missed!

   TESS: Care to tell us? 

   KEISHA: Nope!

   KEIKO: This is very lovely; better than previous years. 

   DAKOTA: Should I even ask what happened previously? 

   KEIKO: To put it simply - a lot of tension amongst people.

   KEIKO: Differing beliefs, feelings of superiority - you know, the usual. Just a lovely change of pace to see the future generation of spellcasters.

   KEIKO: Oh look, it’s Keisha-

   DAKOTA: Where?! I haven’t seen them in so long, we should go say hi!

   KEIKO: And it seems my students are waving at us too. 

   DAKOTA: Wait, but I don’t want to abandon Andy- 

   DAKOTA: I heard from Keiko that someone broke into her school. 

   ANDREA: Oh? 

   DAKOTA: They don’t know who it was, but word is that they encountered Atlas Delcroix. 

   ANDREA: How lucky of them…

   DAKOTA: So… What prompted you to do that? 

   ANDREA: Wha- Why would you assume it’s me? Your own niece? 

   DAKOTA: You’re the only person reckless enough to pull something of this level - it also seemed too theatrical for it to be anyone else. 

   ANDREA: (grumbles) This is absolute slander. 

   DAKOTA: No shame in chasing after a boy Andy. 

   ANDREA: It isn’t about that! I just… want to learn from a Delcroix 

   DAKOTA: Hmm.

   ANDREA: Oh well, whatever, let me know when Keiko is here. 

   DAKOTA: Aww, you didn’t come to visit me? 

   ANDREA: Well unless you have a way for me to try and ask again, I will not be listening to anything else. 

   DAKOTA: (laughs) Okay. 

(A little later...)

   KEIKO: I’m home!

   DAKOTA: Welcome home babe. 

   KEIKO: Oh! Andy’s here- Oh oops, is she sleeping? 

   DAKOTA: Yup, just fell asleep by the looks of it. 

   KEIKO: Well, I’ll try my best to stay quiet while making pasta. 

   KEIKO: What brings her here? 

   DAKOTA: Something in regards to her little encounter with the Delcroix boy. 

   KEIKO: Oh! That was her? Actually, now that I think about it… She would do something like that wouldn’t she? 

   DAKOTA: Mhm. 

   KEIKO: Why does she want to see him so bad anyway?

   DAKOTA: I’m not really sure, she said something about learning more magic - though, I think it’s for other reasons… But, you didn’t hear it from me!

   KEIKO: No harm in wanting to learn more from others. 

   DAKOTA: I agree, but why this specific person?

   KEIKO: It would be an honour to learn from one of the oldest magic families - and they’re of similar age! Andy probably had no other ulterior motives. 

   DAKOTA: That’s definitely one way to interpret it… 

   KEIKO: Besides, I’ve heard that she isn’t the only one looking for something or someone... Anyway, do you think she’ll stay for dinner?
