it might have lost them the game.

if they voted for nick on that table with david— it would have been 4/4 for him and jonathan. they would’ve had to convince kate as well to outnumber.

if they then convinced david to vote for kate next roundtable, they could’ve got jonathan through. but this could’ve still ended up with jonathan banished.

problem for the traitors is that joe and nick have figured out exactly who they are.

if joe and nick convince david to vote for cat and alan, the faithfuls now have majority over the traitors. it will matter if the traitors convince david to vote out nick and joe. this is the only way they can win now.

if they managed to keep jonathan in, they would have easily won the fire pit.

now joe marler will vote to banish until cat and alan are both out of the game. so the faithful are guaranteed to win unless cat and alan turn on each other last minute. the game really hinges on david’s vote now and the traitor’s loyalty to each other. if one of them turns on the other, they will lose the game unknowingly.
