Ahh, poor Hux! He's halfway through his pregnancy when Kylo starts being distant. What if they're not even in a relationship but had unprotected sex one hot night and they've ended up with a baby. Hux first wanted rid of it but he's fallen in love with his baby and can't wait to be a parent. He and Kylo have slowly been growing closer and closer, bonding over their unborn child and even having a semblance of a relationship. They've been sleeping together--not sexually, literally sleeping side-by-side or with Kylo spooning Hux and holding his belly.

But Kylo has been distant over the past month. He's been spending the nights in his own chambers instead of Hux's, he's stopped checking on Hux and the baby during his shifts, Kylo even misses one of Hux's check-up appointments.

Hux's moods begin to sink lower and lower as he convinces himself that Kylo hates him again and thinks badly of their baby. He starts working from his chambers, neglecting to eat the meals that the doctors have told him to eat to keep healthy, refusing to see anyone. He thought everything was changing but he can't even provide for his baby.

He's close to being omitted to the medbay when Kylo comes to him. Hux is almost unconscious with dehydration and malnourishment, lying on his bed, just stroking over his big pregnant belly.

The ending I had in mind? Turns out Snoke convinced Kylo that Hux manipulated Kylo into getting him pregnant, that the child might not even be his because Hux is known for spreading his legs for anyone. Hux wanted to get rid of the child when he first discovered that he was pregnant and Kylo wouldn't even have known. It caused Kylo to become distant, mourning for the happy life that he and Hux were coming to have. But Kylo sensed his Master's plan: to keep Hux and Kylo separate so that he can take the child for his own uses and dispose of Kylo and keep Hux to be bred by the remaining Knights Of Ren until he had an army of weapons.
