Anonymous :Â are any of your girls terrified of what the future might bring? Â do they welcome terrible things? Â or can they only see good things happening in the future?
Ritsuka is terrified and has been convinced from a young age that she has no choice but to welcome the terrible things that are coming. She’s long since accepted what’s coming for her , but it’s difficult not to be hopeful when she’s finally escaped the life she thought she could never escape and has people who genuinely . . Seem to care for her. And as comforting as that is , it also terrifies her. It was much easier to live and let die when she knew she didn’t have to worry about anyone else - And no one had to worry about her.
I/ffrita is worried about the future. For a long time she thought she knew exactly what would happen and she was looking forward to finally finding the right place to settle and build a new home with Mikhail in. But , that didn’t happen. The entire plan that they had both agreed to has gone up in flames. They’re stuck in a world they didn’t choose to stay in , Mikhail was missing (and she found him!) But he turned her away and has obviously found his own purpose outside of her , and now she’s . . Alone , confused , and has no idea what to do anymore. The uncertainty of the future scares her and she’s hesitant to welcome it in.
Hikari isn’t so much scared about the future as she is worried about how she’s going to get back to it. She knows what happens in the future and she’s not scared of it. She’s scared of , ironically , the past. And being trapped in it.
