     THE THING WITH agata for arlo is that he’s endlessly fascinated by her. the perfect mixture of poised and mysterious, polite and reserved, he’s convinced that she’s one of the most interesting people on this island. like, she doesn’t outwardly say much about herself and though she keeps her private life private, it doesn’t mean she won’t open up if you were to ask. and that’s precisely what arlo wants to do right now, as they sit in her kitchen picking at breakfast pastries near noon. he’s got a book in front of him and his chin resting in his hand while they sit in silence. he glances across the table at the gorgeous blonde and eyes her up for a moment before he sets the book face down, then folds his hands on top of it and leans a bit closer.

     THERE’S A REASON arlo doesn’t drink liquor for pleasure. when he’s drinking liquor, you can always assume arlo is trying to get wasted for one reason or another. tonight happens to be because it’s the end of the summer and his emotions are all over the place— between almost having sex with one of his best friends, another opening up to him about their past and arlo admitting his love for a man that has since left the country for a year, it’s safe to say that arlo has no fucking clue what else to do besides get wasted and hope to shut his thoughts down for a second. and arguably, that seems to be working because all he can focus on is making his way outside of the club, his hand feeling against the wall as if the rest of the room is on fire and he can’t see through the smoke. he staggers outside and instantly reaches into the pocket of his denim jacket for a cigarette when he spots a girl a few feet ahead of him. the night has turned brisk quite quickly; it feels like a storm might be brewing.

fuck- florian. marry- i’ll say agata because i know for certain she’d be such a lovely life partner. kiss- because i can’t take the idea of killing any of these beautiful people, okay? i’m sorry. but i’d kiss nico, for sure. anything more would piss her off but i think she’d hate me the least for a kiss.
