fox had just been aimlessly walking the streets, hoping to get some fresh air after being inside all day and hopefully find a bit of muse. the pressure was on considering he needed to come up with something to show his manager as soon as possible. however, he hadn’t had much muse lately and it was beginning to frustrate him. the musician took a moment, as she passed him before stopping in his tracks and immediately turning on his heel to catch up to her. “excuse me, uh-- excuse me, has anyone ever told you how beautiful you are ??”

given the fact that lauren was finally coming home from tour he wanted to make sure everything was perfect for her. he’d tried to cook dinner which actually turned out successful, lit some candles, turned on some music and dimmed the lights. a romantic evening for two planned to perfection. he stood nervously by the kitchen counter until he heard her unlock the door, fixing his hair and instantly moving towards the door to grab her bags, “i missed you, babe.”

the musician had been leaning against the wall, enjoying the weather and waiting for his driver when he spotted the other. it was swift when she passed by him but he couldn’t help but notice her beauty. quickly pushing himself off of the wall he follwed after her, tapping her on the shoulder and running a hand through his hair. “u-um, excuse me ??”

fox ran a hand through his hair, his entire being drained from the events of tonight plus he was coming down from a high. he eyed the other as they spoke as he wished to somehow fade into the darkness of the night. here they were again going through the same old shit and he should’ve been used to it now but who really could get used to it ?? “okay but i don’t give a fuck what your excuse is, you ran her off ?? can i not have one date without your jealous ass getting in the way !?”

fox had been so into the routine of sleeping over at his best friend’s house that his parents practically considered him family. he was welcome to anything he needed without asking. all he had to do was get up and get it and those perks included the free will to rummage through their kitchen for a midnight snack. the boy picked himself off the couch,  left his shirt laying on the floor and dragged himself down the hall. rubbing his eyes as he noticed the light in the far room on he squinted to see who was standing by the island. suddenly all of him had been awakened. fox knew he shouldn’t be so attracted to his best friend’s little sister but fuck she’d changed. his eyes scanned her body. “hi,” he groaned tiredly.
