this  faith  is  not  your  alabaster,  blonde  &  blue-eyed  angel  -  she  is  imperfect  &  ethereal.     /     among  the  masses,  she  walks  in  floor-length  tresses  of  gauzy  ivory  -  a  ghost  &  spirit  among  mere  men.  (akin  to  the  tropes  of  shattered  innocence,  the  runaway  bride,  the  woman  in  white  +  more.)  as  time  goes  on,  the  white  that  she  wears  grows  weary  &  worn  without  shame.  among  her  most  loyal  of  disciples,  she  is  more  vulnerable  -  wrapped  in  soft  knits  &  denim,  the  most  basic  &  comfortable  fabrics  to  prove  that  she  can  be  soft;  she  can  be  human.  (is  this  used  to  endear  those  who  are  lucky  enough  to  see  her  in  what  she  projects  as  vulnerable?  yes.)  her  skin  is  inked  &  tattooed  from  a  past  life  -  she  strives  not  to  cover  it.  new  artworks  from  the  baptist  curl  along  her  skin,  and  she  is  the  walking  promise  that  rings  so  truly  among  the  mountains  of  hope  county  -  if  she  can  be  accepted  for  all  her  past  sin,  you  can  be,  too.
