Summon daggers darted though the air. Taking out enemy after enemy. Truly this was a practiced dance he had with his partner. He always kept an eye on him, careful not to let and enemy get too close to getting his human companion. Though that did mean he was moving trying to stay away and fight things one on one.
In typical JarIaxle fashion, he hadn't taken to many hits but it was far more than he was accustomed to. Now to focus on his tricks and not on how he was loosing blood and messing up his foot work.
Thank you @gemshroud for the warm-up

"Artemis, its just me and you. You don't have to hide the truth. You have to have kissed someone before."
He knew that because he had kissed him and now he needed more information. How had he gone his whole life and not kissed anyone?
"wait was I your first kiss?"

The half thri-kreen considered for a couple of seconds, obviously missing the mean note which came so easy whenever Entreri faced the most innocent of questions. A flutter of thin antennas, Cricket was truly putting much thought into the counter query.
❝ Well, no. ❞ Dry as a desert. Self-explanatory, the druid can't expect every human to know the difference between bug & annelid. Still, the man dodged Crickets question, which irritated him in the slightest.
❝ That is why I wondered. Would you like me if I was a worm ? Earthworm or . . . flatworm, pinworm . . . ❞

❝ SEEEEEEEELL ? ? ! Are you crazy ? ? ? ❞ Kiki clutched her pearls — He must be insane ! ( He was insane, not the other way around ) . Why oh WHY would she ever want to . . . Nononononnonononoonooooo, such precious organs would only go to waste at the black market. Leave it in her CAPABLE hands.
❝ No, I would pickle it up. Plain & simple ; so you could look at it from all sides aaaanytime you want to. Promise it will not hurt. I did this before. ❞ Many times before, to everyone's misfortune.

The tiefling wanted to mock him but he thought better than to do that. He had of course heard about this man from the others in the guild. Enough that he would exercise caution. He settled on just sighing and leaning his back against the wall. Though it wouldn't be the first or last time a human disliked him so it didn't bother him to much.
"Maybe I'll show you my skills next time we fight."

Shadowheart had been the first to put the idea into her head, but the more Eve thought about it, the more she agreed with it. They would all divulge their secrets when they felt it was time and not a moment before. At the same time, his words amused her--probably more than they should.
"I mean...I think we all need to trust each other to a certain extent," she admitted with a little shrug of her own. Otherwise, what would this adventure get them but perhaps dead before they began it? "I just think that as far as sharing our life stories, perhaps we should wait."
Truth be told she was probably more curious than the rest of them were, but she knew that no one really wanted to talk about it. There were things she wanted to leave hidden too, but she also knew that if she didn't put faith in them, then they were likely to fail. It was a fine line to be walked upon, but they were all going to have to take the leap of faith and tread upon in.
"Do you think I don't seem trustworthy?"
