Did Mudbriar and Maud break up in your au??? I was wondering after seeing the family trees
It was either going to be another branch on the polycule or divorcees and frankly I don't have any other divorced couples in the AU really so I might as well.
Technically, this blog was made before the introduction of Mudbriar and never had plans to include him. Adding him into the family tree and giving Glam Rock a moss-obsessed cousin was more of a recent decision when I was making those family trees.

I do love to see creepy/gruesome interpretations of a cute show like MLP sometimes but I can be REALLY picky about them since it's so very easy to go over the edge and just become silly.

So, why did Sunset decide to move back to Equestria after high school? Like, considering how close she was with her human world friends and the hobbies she gained there, why did she decide to give all that up? And does she make any effort to still visit or keep some contact with the Rainbooms?
I've gotten a lot of this question sent in, some have been pretty rudely worded too (saying she "abandoned" her friends in the human world. Asking if she even "bothered" to keep in contact. Etc ) It really deters me from answering stuff like that. So quick side note here but please please try to stay polite, guys and don't spam the same question over and over either. 🙏
It's going to be explored more in the comics but I want you to realize that she was not the ONLY one that left. True to life, the girls all simply graduated high school, several go on to college, or careers which requires moving away. I think 3 of the Rainbooms remain in town but the rest move onto their next steps in life. Sunset moving back to Equestria is her own version of that. They keep in touch, its difficult but they don't care about each other any less.
Hello my question is how did you come up with this whole idea or well story, and was it hard while you were making the kids for the canon characters. (Love you blog and artstyle so much! :3)
I didn't have a clear plan for any overarching story when I originally made the blog, I kinda just enjoyed the process of designing a cool OC or fankid and giving them a space to interact with. The ask blog format was just a unique way to explore those characters a bit. At some point I did start having ideas of giving these characters (mainly Nova, Dusk and Chriki) their own, more dramatic storylines but it felt like it was missing something so I didn't do it originally.
I took a long hiatus from the internet, afterwards the FiM show had it's final season and knowing how everything ends I think gave me the room to brainstorm around that to build my own post-series plotline. Even if my Twilight doesn't look like the canon design, I do try and make my AU as close to canon-compliant as possible. It's kinda the only reason I made Appledash and Cheespie canon here (had to draw the line at Flutter-cord though.. sorry guys, it's still a NoTP for me!)
Coming up with cool stories and ideas is easy mostly, but it's the coherrently-writing-it-down and scripting that gives me more trouble. I really am more of a visual person than I am a writer but having a script is a necessary evil, I'm afraid. lol
It'll be fun to give the characters some more drama and twists to deal with going forward. Thank you for the question!

Hello I have a question so I checked out your patreon would you be posting the other parts for princess moms on here?
Everything here gets posted to the patreon first, basically months in advanced. They get to see all the letters I make, as soon as I make them as well as the current progress on any of the longer comics. Currently working on drawing the first longer comic so there letters may get updated less often while that's in the works. Higher tiers get to see character designs and spoiler stuff too.
