kinda? intrulogical is one that's risen up in popularity recently that i don't care for tbh. like i love the dynamic of their relationship (platonically) and there's cute and funny intrulogical stuff out there that I have and will continue to rb, but i don't actively ship it. honestly, i don't ship any remus ships. although i do hc remus as aro, it's less about that and just more along the lines of him feeling unshippable to me. i adore him as a character, and am all for him getting platonic love, but i just don't see him as being romantically involved with anyone, which is why i don't ship intrulogical. and as for a straight-out notp, i don't like remrom. it's the only ts sides ship i'm flat-out opposed to even seeing.
5: Has fandom ever ruined a pairing for you?
absolutely! logicality is a good example of this. to me it seems as if everyone ships it... because everyone ships it. i'm not saying there aren't cute fanworks out there that i've enjoyed, but it feels like its just there to be the obligatory "mom and dad" ship and i absolutely despise that trope, for many reasons. it's like with every group of people or characters, fans have to get the "mom friend" and the "dad friend" and pair them off together despite there not being much palpable chemistry or substance to it if at all. i don't like characters that are shipped together purely because they fit the "mom and dad" roles in a group of people; the "parents" dynamic (not talking about aus where they are LITERALLY parents or adoptive parents--that's a different story) is tired, exhausted, and boring imo, and seeing posts that call logan and patton "mom" and "dad" can make me extremely uncomfortable. i've noticed that in fandoms, most of the big, popular ships are built upon stereotyped, romanticized versions of what they think a relationship should be, and it irritates me to no end. and honestly, disregarding aus, looking at canon, logicality seems to me like it would not be a healthy relationship, and some of the things that have happened between patton and logan have made it basically unshippable for me.

although he did it with winning in mind, he doesnāt expect his name to be called nor is he surprised when he isnāt.
he decided to take on the challenge on a whim, a drunken whim to be more precise, so the outcome is probably one he deserves. he accepted it and got ready to leave when tiger jk himself came to thank them all for participating and names a few more people. jinyoungās reaction was delayed. it took someone pat his back to congratulate him for him to finally get out of his daze and realize what was happening. heās satisfied to have left an impression of course, but itās not really something to brag about. itās just like any other audition heās taken part in before. it requires a lot of preparation and leaves very little chances of actually getting in.
but he once again felt like he had something to prove to himself and he had to see the end of this no matter the outcome.
during his stay at nova, the trainers often scolded his stiffness, advised him to find a way to let himself go when Ā needed. he canāt always be in control, or lose focus as soon as he isnāt. they say despite being an obvious hardworker it sometimes felt as if he wasnāt passionate about what heās doing. since he tends to get too much in his own head, he forgets to put his heart on the table, show vulnerability.
and he did make one promise to himself for this year: to be more unpredictable. so instead of barricading himself in his bedroom to practice without pause until the day of his audition, he schedules it right near the end of the allowed period of time and shares an idea with mina. āi want to leave with you for two or three days.ā sheās surprised to say the least. she knows her boyfriend and expected him to take the audition (if he wanted to do it) very seriously and methodically. of course she doesnāt oppose to the idea. because park jinyoung always knows what heās doing, right? and they leave for her jeju hometown in the following days.
itās during this well-needed trip that slowly emerges the idea of his audition song. he wants to get a little bit out of his comfort zone by performing an english song. heās nowhere near fluent but has been told his accent is very good for someone who can only sustain a basic conversation. plus years of singing and acting experience probably help with pronunciation. the couple spends almost the entire trip on the beach, mina resting her head on jinyoungās lap as he sings to her. itās all the practice he needs during that time. with her around it can only come from the heart, and he understands a little bit better what the nova trainers wanted to teach him.
after coming back heās more than ready to take this audition on, and uses his time wisely. his analytic nature does have him go through the lyrics hundreds of time until he gets the right intonation every time, but he pays just as much attention to his posture, facial expressions and emotion when singing. because they should be able to understand the kind of message heās trying to convey even if they donāt understand the lyrics. thatās what music is all about.
heās a bit nervous on the day of his audition, but he takes it as a good sign. it means heās taking enough of a risk for all of this to be worth it. he didnāt play safe, and theyāll see that heās ready to give them everything heās got to offer. suckerās pitch is higher than a lot of male artistsā songs, and even though it isnāt filled with dozens of incredible adlibs it still showcases a lot of vocal technique. thereās a groove to it he didnāt show during the triple threat challenge, and heāll also be bringing his guitar to accompany himself.

he didnāt smile during overcome, the song being serious as it is, but he does this time. heās having fun and it shows. every time he closes his eyes itās mina he sees, and the wonderful three days they spent together far from this city. they both know it was probably their last trip for a while so they made the most of it. and while being unaware of the true reason behind of his happiness, thereās no doubt heās singing for someone, whether itās someone from his past, present or future. mina really making the typical him break his typical rules. if his younger version ever knew he would fall for a girl like her... but she completes him in the best way.

I realized Mikaelan should have at least one scar, because thereās no way he survived the death of his birth clan without scratch. His brother almost turned demon precisely because Mikaelan was so close to being killed.
I just donāt know yet what scar it should be. It will most likely be one he can hide well enough, so on his back or stomach. Stab wound maybe? It would be the most logical.
No but, yes, a scar at the side of his stomach, but also one at his back, suggesting whoever stabbed him literally run him through. He survived only because of the Sigil connecting Linise and Mikaelan, thus sharing spiritual energy (and/or awakening his own) to keep him alive.
And just, Keeper Deshanna finds that child elf with a stab wound that just started healing, but the major part of the blood on his clothes isnāt his own and she can only guess what tragedy he just survived, thus making her unwilling to bring it up (especially at the blank, far away look he had the first time she asked, and probably last time she did ask).

Here comes some sad stuff, as this is a short headcanon on how MikaĀ ended with his relative after his parents death, and why itās still a very sad memory. It ends with one or two fears of his.
So letās not forget his parents died recently, and he only has his motherās family because his father was an orphan. But added to that, he barely saw his motherās family, and knew that his mother didnāt get along too well with them. Or well, all he knew was that his motherās family almost never called, and he isnāt sure they ever visited.
Still, his parents died, and so his motherās family is the first canditate to take care of him. They were here at his parents funeral, however very soon after when they started whispering about who would take care of Mika, he realized exactly what they were saying.
They were arguing, each giving reasons why they wouldnāt do it. Not enough space, not enough money, and sometimes simplyĀ ānoā andĀ āI donāt want toā. Mika couldnāt understand back then, but all he knew is that he was as unwelcome as his mother had been.
In the end, it settled on his relative (uncle or aunt, I canāt recall my notes), because they were one of the closest in term of blood connection, and lived alone. There was a bit of wish to take care of his motherās child, but Mikaās relative saw it more as a duty that real care.
So yeah, part of Mikaās hard time with compliment, and going to people, is how his own family didnāt want him, followed by a few years of verbal abuse (often centering of being a burden, or someone people didnāt want around) with physical one at times (during moments of stress, his relative would slap him, or push him against walls). In a sense, deep down heās still afraid of rejection, of becoming a burden to people.
So I discovered doing IC CAH games that Mike does have subjects that can... trigger in him bad responses. For the most part, it would be anything that bring back memories, and his first reaction will be to grow more silent/reserved as he tries to stay calm. After that, he will either be angry (depending on what is said/done) or outright break down and cry.
The biggest reply would actually be his real full name, Michael. Only Drew can call him like this without triggering anything bad, and Drew actually uses it rarely-if not only when theyāre alone. He associatesĀ āMichaelā with how his relative would say it, and considering that person disliked Mike he made sure to verbally let Mike know he was rejected and unwanted in his relativeās home. So hearingĀ āMichaelā (even not directed at him!) will make him feel like heās facing again his relative.
HIs general reaction would be to flinch, possibly make himself smaller, and ask for people not to use that name. If they donāt listen, he would most likely walk away.
After that, he is sensitive to the Bite of 87 and the death by springlocks failure. Both are actually tied to Drew, as Drew was the victim of the bite in the AU, while Mike accidentally pushed Drew to go into Springtrap. He is usually slowly breaking down, ending up needing comfort (which usually means Drew will arrive), but in some cases he can get angry (for example if someone jokes about the bite, etc). Note that he will also avoid contact with anyone past a certain point, as his powers would be acting up. Theyāre tied to his emotions after all, so if heās breaking up? Anyone touching him that isnāt a ghost heās bonded with would be in danger.
On a last note, Mike also has some sadness subjects, so to speak. Heās sad Matthew died, or that he wasnāt able to have the Toys+Mangle+BB around. He will also feel the guilt from killing Drew from times to times.
