Cheryl sort of remembered the trial.

But she hadn't felt right.

Wesker was there, she knew it, she was looking at him. But the world was getting hazy and blurry. She was pretty sure he didn't actually hit her, or stab her, but everything was spinning.

Then everything went dark.

How long she was out, she wasn't sure. But the air was cool, and the lights hummed overhead. She knew she was laying on some kind of cot, some sort of horizontal surface with a light blanket over her. Was this Wesker's lab? Why was she here? She was pretty sure he wasn't a medical doctor.

She could hear voices, but the world was still slowly returning to her. Chris, arguing with someone... probably Wesker.

But everything was still spinning, and she wasn't sure she could sit up.

What exactly do you want to do to babyface?

Keep him. Control him. Own him. Maybe not control, because that makes people leave! People stay a lot better when they have freedom. But look at him! He obviously needs a keeper. An owner. And what better one than me, who knows how to keep him happy? Who knows how to cheer him up? Who knows that he doesn't have to think? He has choices, of course! Always. It helps keep people happy to have choices. True choices!
