I can try! *crackles knuckles*

First up I'm gonna rec the Adam Binder series, which I read a couple months ago (it's not complete but there's three books out so far). It begins with White Trash Warlock and I actually enjoyed it a lot. It has a lot of magic and insanity, angst and trauma... And the main character... Well I relate to him since I am also unfortunately trailer trash. :') But yeah. The first book hooked me right away! (Spoiler, sort of: The only thing I don't like is the love interest, because he's a cop. But he's changed his mind about being one.)

Next I must tell you about The Tarot Sequence! Book 1 is called The Last Sun and there are three main books out so far, plus several novellas. I actually got recced this series by a very awesome anon! I owe them my life! It's so good. The magic system throws a lot at you at once, but it's not hard to get used to. I want to say MUCH about these books but I don't wanna spoil anything for you in case you decide to read them. I will say though that I love all the relationships in the books! Rune (our lovely MC) and Brand are bonded Companions, which means they're besties who can, will, and do kill for each other. Plus there's a host of other characters you'll meet later on and fall in love with!

All of Us Villains was rather good! I read it last summer. There's a magical battle royale sort of thing between a bunch of teenagers, they're all so stupid. There's lots of pain and angst, but also shit that made me cackle?

These ones are standalone books, but I enjoyed them a lot!

Don't Let The Forest In- magic and monsters in a private school with lots of twists and turns and angst and pain. I had a really good time and had to sit and stare for a minute after I finished it! It's a horror novel though and contains some Fucked Up body horror shit.

Icarus- This one had immaculate vibes to me. I really don't know what else to say. It's art thief x boy who's under house arrest, plus art thief learns he has friends who love him? Just vibes. I had a really good time with it.

Cutting Your Teeth- I read this one like two years ago so I'm a bit fuzzy on the details, but I remember thinking the MC was very Neil Josten coded! But with Vampires and shit. I can't remember how the story ends up??? Which is weird. But like my memory is shit.

Anyway! That's... about it. And the thing these all have in common (mostly) is the fantasy elements. (Except Icarus, it's just plain ol modern world.) But I think if you like a lot of the series I like, you'll probably find at least one of these worth your while!

Also I'm gonna assume you're already read the Simon Snow series, but if not please do. I love them so.
