Amira learned from a young age that life wasn’t going to be easy. Her parents made sure she was educated on that fact. That because of her skin color people would assume the worst things about her, that people might treat her differently or look down on her just because she was a black woman, but that didn’t stop Amira. She knew from a young age that she was meant to be a star and her family encouraged that. She began acting at a young age after annoying her parents about it constantly. She got her start in local plays and commercials and then moved on to small roles.

But it didn’t take her long to realize that even if she was the better performer or singer or dancer the roles were always given to someone else, someone lighter. But she persevered and continued on eventually graduating from high school and then attending a performing arts college in her home state. She then graduated after majoring in theater studies and minoring in film studies and performing in several plays at her college and local community center.

Shortly after arriving in Eastcliff she was offered a supporting role in a new show and was incredibly excited. At least she was until she found out the producer was a racist sexist who liked to take advantage of actresses of color in exchange for their role in a show. She was both extremely upset and angry. Her parents had tried to warn her these things might happen but she hadn’t listened. But she has vowed that a disgusting pig like that won’t stop her dream. She is currently auditioning for a role as well as acting at the local theater hoping to be noticed.
