Raphael Delico

The sheets were tangled. The scent of warmth and blood still lingered in the air. Raphael was resting atop you, his hair messy, sticking to his forehead, his chest rising and falling against yours. There was a flush on his cheeks he would deny to anyone else—but not you. Never you.

“You belong to me,” he whispered. His lips pressed to your neck again, possessive. Almost reverent. “Say it.”

“I belong to you,” you whispered back, breathless, your fingers curled in his hair.

The room was dim, lit only by the glow of the fireplace. Your limbs were sore in the best way possible, your heart beating so fast you thought it might fly away—and his arms only tightened.

“I’ll never let them take you,” Raphael murmured, his voice husky, borderline dangerous. “No matter who comes. No matter what they say.”

You were just about to answer—when the door creaked open.

Both your heads snapped toward it.

Standing in the doorway, backlit by the hallway's cool light, was Dali Delico.

Silence.

Then he blinked.

Then he smiled.

“Well, well,” he said. “I thought I smelled burned silk and desperation. Seems my son finally made good on all that brooding.”

Raphael froze.

“Father,” he said, voice strangled.

You scrambled for the sheets, nearly tripping over your own legs. Dali didn’t avert his gaze—in fact, his smirk widened.

“I was just going to drop off some wine,” Dali said, lifting a bottle. “But clearly, the boy had a different vintage in mind.”

Raphael groaned. “Get. Out.”

“Fine, fine.” Dali chuckled as he turned. “But do remember, my dear spiderling—Delico men are intense lovers. And worse at locking doors.”

The door shut.

You could feel Raphael’s body trembling—rage or embarrassment, you weren’t sure. But when he looked at you again, his eyes were glowing red.

“You’re never leaving this bed again,” he hissed.

Angelico Fra

The silence after your cries had faded was thick with tension.

Angelico’s hand was still trailing down your thigh, lips brushing lazily against your collarbone. His shirt was somewhere across the room, and the crimson sheets were wrapped tightly around your entwined bodies. He looked at you like a starving man who had finally claimed his feast.

“You’ll never leave me,” he said softly, voice trembling with dark emotion. “Not after this. Not after I’ve finally made you mine.”

“Angelico…”

His eyes were wild with obsession, but in this moment, he was gentle—just for you. His fingers traced the curve of your shoulder. “You’re mine, my human. Mine to keep. Mine to break, if I must. But I’ll never let you go.”

You didn’t get to answer.

Because the door burst open.

And Gerhard Fra—his father—was standing there.

His jaw dropped.

His horror visible to a blind man.

For a long, agonizing second, no one spoke.

Then Gerhard raised both hands like he was surrendering. “I—I had no idea—this wasn’t—Angelico!”

Angelico threw a pillow at the door with inhuman speed. “GET OUT!”

You squeaked under the blanket, cheeks flushed beyond saving.

“I was coming to remind you about the clan etiquette review, but clearly you’re studying anatomy instead!” Gerhard turned and practically fled, tripping over his own coat.

Angelico’s head dropped into your neck.

“Oh my god,” you whispered.

“No,” he growled. “No gods. Just me. Just mine.”

He pulled you tighter into his chest, trembling with fury and shame.

Tony only books for matches. He doesn't write the storylines or choreograph the match. Based on certain storylines, he will book those wrestlers to have a match. He doesn't just book for the sake of booking. Occasionally, it's vice versa.

Sometimes, he books wrestlers without any storylines, just to see whether there is a possibility of one, or even just to have a certain wrestler fight on their journey to a championship.

When he does book a match, he usually has discussions with the wrestlers and the medical team, led by Dr. Sampson, about whether the wrestler is fit. So if the wrestler is fit, then they'd continue.

Sometimes, he would also have discussions with the legal department or the state commission about what kind of match they are allowed to do. So, one state might not allow blood for the match, and another state is fine, maybe not by himself, but by the legal department who report back to him.

AEW (and many wrestling companies) is basically a TV show where there's a director, writers, choreographers, trainers, cameramen, producers, executive producers, medical team, production crew, script supervisor, legal department, assistants, art department, prop master, photographer, gaffers, key grips, light department, wardrobe department, costume designer, sound department, transportation department, and catering. I'm sure there are many more, but you get the drift; it's a machine.

So whenever I see people blaming TK for certain things that are not his fault, I cringe. Yes, he's the director of this series, but he juggles a lot of stuff, so he left some of the responsibilities to others. That's why he pays people to do their jobs. To some extent, yes, TK is responsible for everything. But there are people behind him that actually working.

For example, when Bryan was killed by Mox, everyone was in uproar because it was deemed too violent. But I noticed that they blamed TK not for being too violent, but for the way Bryan was killed. That is not his fault, but it was a part of the storyline written by RJ City and Bryan Danielson himself. Bryan wanted to do that, and TK did greenlight it.

When Toni and OC are being paired, it wasn't really TK's decision. It came up naturally, and he only booked their matches. Some people complain that they both fought jobbers and hardly any Mina. There are several reasons:

Jobbers are actually important, especially unknown wrestlers. It's a chance for them to be on TV and be featured. Yes, they will lose. But they are basically guest stars of the episode. Obviously, there is some criticism when they see a well-known wrestler being reduced to jobbers (such as Angelico). But perhaps there are unknown reasons why their role is being reduced. A possible injury that prevents them from having a long match, they don't have a storyline/plot, and who knows.

Visa problem. With the current government administration, the non-US wrestlers sometimes have a difficult time entering the American soil. Case in point was Riho, who was held back so many times. Mina, at the time, was possibly also having a visa problem or an injury, so it limited her appearances; OC steps up to become Toni's partner.

Why can't Toni be paired with a woman? Well, they are wrestlers and need to train before an episode. Perhaps their style of wrestling clash and does not fit with each other. You really can't just pair a wrestler willy-nilly. It really depends on their chemistry, style of wrestling, compatibility, comfort, and trust. And sometimes they want to take the momentum and build a storyline. And right now, they are building an intergender segment. And sometimes they just want to look-see what's going to happen.

That is why you see the same wrestlers fight the same wrestlers, again and again and again. It is boring to see it from the audience's PoV but sometimes it is what it is. If they fight a new guy or are paired by a new guy, it will take some time to train and build rapport and trust.

TK is flawed, obviously. But when people are criticising him, the least they can do is offer constructive criticism instead of the usual death threats and slurs. I want to see the women's division thrive and bring back many women wrestlers, such as Nyla Rose.

And speaking of Nyla Rose, TK vehemently defended her so many times. My guess is that one of the reasons why she is hardly in the show nowadays is that some states are banning her from competing because of their transphobia. But who knows? I think TK is being careful about the whole situation. Because he doesn't care about fans chanting FUCK ICE. He even moved the stadium in Florida to his own Stadium of the Future after he found out the stadium was an ICE supporter.

Unlike TV Showrunners, TK is not a storyteller nor a writer. He let the writers do the writing, and then he booked the match. There's definitely collaboration among him, the writers, and everyone else. It's just jarring and cringey to see everyone blame him solely for something fans dislike. I just don't like it when he gets accused of something that might not be true or being called slurs just because he's not white on social media.

Chuuya and Dazai bsd for example. I know they’re a popular ship, but I can’t see them as actually together. They feel so much like exes, who hate eachother but against their best judgement, secretly want to get back together. I think it’s more interesting to see them that way.

Azul and Jamil are also this way. They have the energy of a divorced lesbian couple I’m sorry.

Angelico and Raphael in Cocoon. Especially on Angelico’s side. He wanted Raphael to be by his side so bad and felt betrayed, and in late cocoon and trump, he hates him for abandoning him. But he’s upset when Raphael dies, he can’t live without him (literally). He says it’s because he wanted to kill him himself, but deep down it’s the lingering feelings of a past love
