Sure, Lucas didn't had a good family background or something.. He did a few things wrong when he was young but this is beyond.. way too beyond..

What first started as a dating rumour to cheating to something and now abandoning kitten and gifts which were given to him.. which again process false ..

Not defending the lad here, but Lucas is just acting childish. It would be too harsh to kick him out if you asked me.

Lucas is an alter that doesn’t come to the surface very often, simply because Marius is a very guarded person and knows that Lucas is vulnerable. It’s like allowing the weakest side to be open out there. Therefore he only comes through when: - Marius is feeling relaxed  - Marius knows the person he’s with and trusts them (which is very rare in itself) - Marius is too drunk, this is a bit of an exception, being half vampire, it takes a lot to get drunk, but when he’s too drunk to be guarded, Lucas feels safe enough to come forward - Marius wants him out willingly, he’s opening the door because he wants to. Lucas is very playful, flirty, and the alter who shows affection, allows intimicy easily and who enjoys sex in a different way: He’s verse, likes to please his partner, and doesn’t mind getting some demands from others. If anyone manages to hurt Lucas, there’s not even time for him to process it, he will be pushed inside again and Adrian takes over, which might not end very well for the person who hurt him. Important: Since Lucas is very vulnerable, he does not notice what is happening when Marius or Adrian are around, in those times he has just a blackout.

Nonna and Lucas are great and I love them, and once they got together they sorted through their shit and their relationship became perfectly healthy and happy, but a lot of what led up to it was actually pretty toxic, despite both of them having good intentions. It’s a rare case where Lucas’ bad judgement actually ended up working in his favor, because if he had been in his right mind, I don’t think those two would have ever gotten together at all. Nonna was too conflicted at the time, and Lucas was shit at communicating. It was really bad on all sides, tbh. 

I am so, so glad that they worked out, but jeez. They needed a counselor badly. If there was one thing I’d do differently, I’d create some secondary counselor character and drop them off at Nonna’s door to teach the two how to talk through their shit. I’m sure they would have turned out the same as they are now, but it would have saved a lot of heartache along the way.
