Arthur was nervous walking into this house again. The last time he'd been there, an angry spirit had chased him and Vivi out, as if he knew them both. Now, without Mystery or Vivi by his side, he was going to go back inside all by himself. He had a camera in one hand, and a bag of salt in the other, just in case the spirit decided to attack him again. He didn't know that inside, the spirit was waiting for him, much, MUCH more dangerous than before. (forgetful-mechanic)
Lewis became aware of the human presence in his mansion the moment they set foot in the old, rickety building, the spirit stepping out of his coffin with sluggish nonchalance, his underlings feeling him awaken…and already they quivered with fear.
Time had not done Lewis any favors, the cracks in his now corroded locket heart had only grown more numerous and more gnarled with time, the spirit himself having undergone a similar transformation: Lewis’ form simply exuded hatred, his skeletal form now overlaid by the translucent visage of his former, living self. One could see who the spirit was now, could see the face of the man once named Lewis that held his beloved close and his best friend closer, the man whose strength had saved his comrades many a time… …but that man was dead, long gone and now completely far gone, the malevolent spirit floating into the entry room of his mansion, glowing magenta irises meeting with Arthur’s gaze, rage overflowing as the door slammed behind the living man and the dead man cackled:Â
"Well WELL: look who decided to show his head here again…you’re brave, coming back Arthur, friend of mine, but don’t think for a SECOND that that means I’m going to go easy on you!”
Magenta flames leapt into the air, Lewis’ rage filling the air and the corrupted ghoul’s mind. Finally, FINALLY he would have his revenge, have it today, have it NOW…
