{đ: Butterfly đŚ}: Psyche.... I am sure by now you have heard that I have asked for Amaterasuâs hand. But before I can go forward with her, thereâs... a lot I need from you. {đ: Butterfly đŚ}: Would you consider coming to talk with me?
{đ: Eros }: I...have.{đ: Eros }: I guess that youâd like me to come over to your place?{đ: Eros }: Iâll be over soon. Â
Psyche awaited his answer from the text sheâd replied back with a delicate sigh on her lips. To say that she had been awaiting such a day wouldnât be an exact incorrect answer. She had been waiting for the day that Eros would contact her, though..not in this particular way that she had expected. When Psyche had heard that heâd proposed to Amaterasu--a large part of her had been stunned, before a wave of internal fury and hurt and washed over her, before resignation finally took over and sheâd accepted that they just were no longer fated to be as theyâd once promised each other to be. Had she been bitter about it? Definitely--yes, Psyche considered herself to be married to Eros--they had been so, before the Gods after all. To hear of your husband whoâd yet to see in eons propose to his lover wasnât something that Psyche had foresaw in her length life. It hurt to hear of it, just as it hurt at the thought of it. It was to the point where she wanted desperately--for a moment, even for just a moment, to hate both Eros and Amaterasu for what they were both doing to her--but such bitterness truly went against what Psyche herself was innately compelled to, and that was to selflessly love everything and everyone. No one other than Psyche dearly hated the fact that the love she was supposed to feel for Eros and the amiable feelings she was supposed to feel for Amaterasu having turned into something that she would draw the line that was almost akin to bitterness and hate. It went against every single part of her principles, her very being and existence, and the goddess herself.
Where had all of that love gone to? It was almost a bitter curve of a smile that fluttered across her face as she took the slow but calming walk towards Erosâ place, the lights in the night sky flickering across her glittering eyes as she inhaled a soft breath, finally coming to a stop to his apartment above Minx, raising a hand and letting her fist gently fall against the door of his apartment.Â
âEros.â Iâm here, went the words unsaid. She knew he could hear her, just like all those years ago, when she was but a mere mortal, and he a god, when everything between them had yet to fall apart, when they werenât allowed to openly meet, each of their clandestine meetings soulful and magical, the love that had bloomed between them pure and binding. That still hadnât changed--at least, she could sense him, just as she always did, beyond that door, though she was no longer privy to his thought and feelings, as she once did before.Â
