I wish I didn’t have to post this again… but the rain returned, and it destroyed what was left of our shelter.

The reality right now:

Our tent is flooding.

The ground is soaked and our bedding is wet.

The shelter is no longer safe or livable for my children.

I’m Mohammed Matar, a father in Gaza caring for my children, my family, and my late brother’s two orphaned children. This is not just a story—it is happening to us right now.

Our GoFundMe has reached $10,223, and I’m deeply grateful. That support helped us survive. But the storm has taken our roof again, and we urgently need help before the next nightfall.
