We've talked abt a lot regarding their friendship and how both will ultimately defend each other like the feral children they are. We've also talked abt Alex being a friend who can ambiently calm Marg down and I just think that's so super (we still gotta keep track of that cause I love that idea and I yearn for the fluff potential-)

Currently in that *forcefully shoving the random puzzle pieces together to see what works* phase, but we're starting to trudge past that so that's the good news!! We just gotta keep these two shmoovin >:3 My biggest barrier has just been understanding Coyote's motives and wording phrases and me myself parsing that (I have a tiny brain and sometimes things don't get through.......)

I would still LOVE to get to the point where Coyote has to deal with Shade, and we can both plot for an organic build-up to that point! (Boy howdy are they gonna hate not having the fun Maggie around :) they get the unfun unnerving demon)

Most of anything antagonistic is them having the frenemy dynamic of calling each other 'bitch' and making dumb jabs at each other or being petty like a game of tag LMAO

I have very little experience in building frenemy relationships like that??? But I am willing to try and learn because they're some of the BEST relationships and I've only ever had that success ONCE on a different character (because both characters were genuine enemies at one point and it snowballed and developed from there)

Regarding actual bonding though? I think somewhere along the way, that's gonna have to come from either of their walls being pierced or brought down for one reason or another! Also probably means Marg will have to 'know' what Coyote is. Both wanna be the weird mysterious friend but we both know they can't have that luxury skjdfsjd

Oh yeah and if Coyote ever wants help with something/someone, Marg will be [reluctantly] willing to help :3

NO BUT THERE'S A LOT OF OPPORTUNITY FOR THESE TWO!! For one, they have one mutual friend that basically ties them together here, so there's a lot they can actually do to get to know one another!! If it's anything about friends of friends, it's that there's less walls for them to get through in regards to Marg!! Now if they give off some red flag behavior then she's putting those walls right back up and distancing herself, but other than that, Eddie's in a real good position to get to know her and the why's and how's of her situation! He's prob not gonna get the full depth of her history right away? If only because it's still a bleeding wound and she even had trouble telling Otis to a degree (like she spilled the beans but then immediately tried to close the wound right back up just sloppily-)

There's also the 'I almost killed Otis once' conversation that will LIKELY pop up at some point but she's not gonna bring that up by herself because she still feels awful about that-

Marg's gonna have her complaints and opinion's abt Eddie's riddles, if only because she's brawns compared to Eddie's brains, so she's not much of a thinky girl (she's probably gonna keep looking to Otis for cheats LMAO), but she'll try not to be mean abt it c:

I know we're both in that awkward position of *how do we get these two to click* and we're kinda just shoving different puzzle pieces together to see what works!! It's the natural phase of things so I'm not sweating it :D

I think that their friendship could lean on qualities about themselves that they're trying to improve! Or certain ideals/opinions abt the state of the world that they find themselves having in common (stuff abt govt. or hierarchies or how certain people don't have what they need to survive because so-and-so)!! Kalego's a bit closed off and Marg's also walled up, but while one is working for the other, I feel like these things have the potential to come up in conversation or scenarios! (For either verses really!))

It could also come in the form of Marg asking a question to prod at the brooding lad c:

OH!! The red options btw are in regards to Shade for the Fantasy Verse specifically since she and Kalego will probably be prone to talking a little more often likely! Shade doesn't like anyone so it's ok if Kalego can't get through ndjkgns she's a stubborn ass and refuses to change her nature for anyone (except MAYBE one individual)

Overall though!! I think boss-apprentice/hire start to a closer relationship is a possible path! Probably going from *working for Kalego out of obligation* to *working for Kalego because she wants to*! And I think somewhere along the way, Marg'll drop some hints abt herself ;v; it's just difficult for her given those wounds still bleed-

Croc has always eluded me because he's so reserved I've had to figuratively walk around him in circles to figure him out (honestly that's probably by design like have we seen the walls of this man??? LMAO)

I think Marg and Croc would've had the awkward 'oh shit' moment when they did meet, and from then on it's just been Marg being cautiously curious enough to 'prod the bear' because why is one of Gotham's most feared sitting in the sewers and not wreaking havoc?? Oh he just doesn't like people that's valid. ( HELL THEY PROBABLY STARTED BONDING BASED ON THAT LMAO)

Given they're both brawly types, there's probably not much they could help each other with per se beyond Marg's knowledge on what's going on above and the fact she's much smaller than him and can squeeze/teleport her way into a hard to reach area if he needed it c:

But I think Marg would also hang with him cause 1: Sewer life is lonely and 2: She can relate to being dumped by humanity just because you're different (she's definitely teetering on the edge of that and she's not sure what to do with that fear so Croc could possibly relate)

Other than that? Chill buddies all the way!! But Marg will occasionally mess with Croc for the sake of it if she can find a way >:3 the big guy's gotta have someone else to annoy him and make life less boring/miserable

Oh yeah Shade's also a problem but I think Croc could [relatively] easily muscle Marg into a restraining hold til she calms down fnaksdfnsa

You know I always love seeing any of your muses and Khare is one I wanna see more often... She's just so interesting and I think she and Marg would actually have a lot in common regarding their conditions-
