The Fae had, without shame, walked up to Vergil before offering him a cup of tea before kissing his cheek and then left him so he could continue his conversation with Nero. Knowing full well the chaos she was about to unleash.
It certainly is never a dull moment when it comes to the Sparda family. Even while Vergil was still reaching and becoming in touch with his humanity, he still retained the rather stubborn dismissive behavior when it came to Nero and his insistent involvement with modern day equipment.
This in of itself had caused the half-devil to merely arch a brow for a mere moment. Listening to Nero go off about the importance of things like advanced technologies like cars and electronics.
Vergil himself is versed in this, but he opted to only the more basic options available. His jaw tense when Nero interrupts him, the half-devil begins to become impatiently distant-
-when a sudden hot cup of tea is presented to him.... and most importantly, a soft touch upon his cheek that signified that the fae had kissed him. Unable to react in the moment, Vergil's attention travels from the cup of tea to the fae in question.
That's when he met Tania's gaze for a small moment. The cup of tea resting in his palm for a small moment before, once lifting it to acknowledge its existence, Vergil's lips tick upward with the smallest of smiles. His face relaxing in the moment while Nero yammered on about about the next point of interest: audio books.
That was his cue to turn his attention back to his son and lecture him about the importance of reading versus listening. With exception to his gaze subtly returning back to Tania's every now and then. His tea warm and comfortable in his hand. A welcoming feeling, just like how the fae welcomed him here along with his (rather oddball) family.
