(( hey have some magnus and stets bonding :>c
stets asked magnus to come over to his timeline for some comfort and still refuses to talk about what’s up ))
I have some grim news to share.
Papyrus has been dusted.
It is believed a fragment-hunting being from within the void is responsible.
However, his soul persists. It is being guarded well, and we are coming together to find the best course of action from here.
" OH? WHAT WILL YOU DO, CHILD?
BUT DIE.
IT IS WHAT PAPYRUS DOES. "
… earlier…
There's a sudden crash that echoes across the void. A fist goes through a monitor, distorting the happy image it once had, its power flickering and fading until the image was completely gone.
And then another, as another piece of equipment is crushed.
Soon, there would be nothing left of the makeshift station.
Not that it mattered. Did anything matter?
He was so fucking happy, wasn't he?
How could he be happy?
He is nothing.
There is an anguished roar as fist upon fist upon fist comes down... and then, in the wake of the destruction, a sob.
And then, the space is empty, save for the howling of the wind, and the shadows of crumpled metal and shattered glass.
… and now …
They had paced the empty space beyond what they had broken in their fit of anguish for hours– was it hours? They didn't know. But they knew they had to think of something, anything, to prevent this from coming to pass.
They could not be allowed to continue as they were. It would ruin everything. He was supposed to want her! Why did he want him? Why did they have to look at each other like that, why did they have to kiss? How could he be happy without her? After what he'd done? Everything that had happened? It made them sick.
How could this have happened?
They run sharp-tipped fingers into their thick, curly hair, hooking it in and tugging until it starts to ache. They tug in pulses to try and jog their thoughts. Think. Think. They have gotten this far. They left him a reminder. He knew they were there, watching, waiting. He can't possibly forget about them. Not this time.
They needed to find some way to separate them.
They needed to get him alone.
They continue to pace.

[DRABBLE] Occupied
"HEY!!"
The sudden shout shakes through the air and reverberates through Tokaku's skull, causing him to raise a palm to his temple to steady it. It rouses him from his deep focus on the device in his hands, and turns his attention toward the source of the sound—
"Papyrus. What is it?"
Sunny stops at the threshold of the lounge, grinning, and holding a small, flat box in his hands. It's a dark blue shade, with a sea creature plastered on the front.
"DO YOU STILL HAVE THE 3DS I GAVE YOU?? I GOT YOU ANOTHER GAME SINCE I FIGURE YOU MIGHT BE GETTING A LITTLE BORED OF SMASH BY NOW…"
Oh. It hadn't been something he'd considered… til now at least. Tokaku presses a few buttons, stands up from his chair, and moves to the Switch dock by the television.
"It is in my laboratory." He'd left it there while he wasn't using it. "I will be a moment."
The boy takes a seat near the TV, giving a nod as Tokaku passes by him, docking the Switch on the way out.
As Tokaku crosses the threshold, he passes through into the Void.
[DRABBLE] Growth
LLYR had been given cause, lately, to be far more alert and paranoid. His sleep was normally quite deep, and peaceful, despite how he was often haunted - but right now, he couldn't afford to sleep deeply, with his partner vulnerable and recovering.
He knew that this place, the bedroom Webs had graciously offered for them to rest in, was likely one of the safest locations in the multiverse right now… but, when it was just them, and the house fell quiet and still, he couldn't shake the fear that seemed to lurk just out of reach at all times, ready to grip him. And so, he waited for a danger that would never come.
It was not quite danger that came for him.
