Minding that I'm super rusty on the lore--
They're softer than one might think, looking at him, looking at his reputation.
Oh, they're definitely a bit calloused- At least, they were. But Celty gave him gloves.
A degree of roughness from before that may not have healed over completely, but it's worth considering-- his rougher actions tended to center around a certain person. Besides that, his daily actions were.. calmer. Mostly. ish.
Someone who manages to touch his hand might be a little surprised, is all.
