Sweet Pea, as one of the principle members of the cast, introduces himself to othe cast members in Riverdale’s production of Heathers. Kevin later tells his leads (Josie & Sweet Pea) that the song they’re about to sing, “17”, is the pivotal climactic song of the night.

Even Sweet Pea looks dubious. He should. As the music warms up for “17”,the camera cuts right to others in the cast singing their duets. Even Jughead sings. It’s a miracle .

Also a miracle --- 10 nanoseconds after Kev-planation of the importance of this song, the camera can't cut away fast enough from co-star Sweet Pea.

Never (ever) again do we see even a molecule of SP in this number.

Big time lead Sweet Pea has no significant role in the musical at all. He was last seen taking off his shirt for a 3-way and laughing raucously in a crowd scene. This is all Roberto and the writers let him do this season.

THIS MAKES NO SENSE! THIS IS AN INSULT TO THE ACTOR AND THE AUDIENCE!
