He’s very depressed and I just want to do something special for him since he’s breaking his freaking back to give us a home, look at his guitar

I know all of my followers probably don’t have any money but JUST IN CASE you do I’m posting this here

Last year, our home was ruined in a fire. It’s been a hard road in the last year since then, but my dad has worked tirelessly to provide a stable home for his two children. The journey has been especially difficult with the absence of his late wife and my mother, who passed away unexpectedly only a month before the fire. He’s been rebuilding our house, largely by himself.

One of his favorite hobbies has always been guitar. He used to play with his brother, who also passed away a number of years ago now. Both his and his brother’s guitars were ruined in the fire, which was a deeply emotional loss while we were sifting through the wreckage of our home. His football jerseys from his days playing as a quarterback for UT, and his father’s flag presented at his funeral were among the emotional tolls taken by the fire.

My dad hasn’t asked for anything in the last year, and has made sacrifice after sacrifice to provide for his family. All I want to do is return the favor. Recently, he spotted a Stratocaster on a pawn shop shelf, and he’s been talking about the guitar non-stop since he saw it. I HAVE to get this guitar as a Father’s Day gift, but I unfortunately lack the funds. Even a small donation will help greatly.
