what the heck did i do to deserve such a calm, patient, understanding human who is always right beside me when i need a mental or emotional hand
and even though he can sometimes be the source of some of my worries/anxiety he knows how to help me handle and quiet them
like today we had to arrange to meet between our houses so i could give him something and i was pissy and annoyed because his parents were making things difficult like usual and the traffic was bad and i was cold
and all it takes is a hug and a kiss and some calm breaths standing in the middle of some random barnes and noble and i’m calm and thinking straight again
like idk maybe hes very intuitive or maybe i’m just ridiculously easy to read but either way, i’m lucky and grateful beyond belief that i have someone who can stay calm when i’m flying off the handle for whatever reason

tadashi & his feelings in regards to being considered a disappointment by his family

I've alluded to the fact that Tadashi doesn't exactly favor his parents at all and at a yougn age this was a small, but what really cemented this fact was his parents calling him dissapointment.
Always wanting to live ot the standards and rules his parents had sat out for him, be good to the public eye, the only praise Tadashi had ever recieved was in getting an "exceptional" grade or in ignoring his initial sense emotional reaction to a situation. In being calm and quiet., yet he was always told that his parents love him and will always love him.
But then he acts out and the world turns against him and the two people he expects to turn to and hopefully have his back TURN ON HIM and worse of all outright call him a DISSAPOINTMENT. It stung. It stung bad. It probably took everything in his power to not cry his eyes out at the police station. But jesus christ even if it stung what this moment really did was just one hundered percent cement the fact that Tadashi can't even believe his parents are real. He can't believe they'd turn their backs on their son and send him off to the big city. To live with a stranger all because he got angry. They didn't even fight back, they never call to see if he's okay ( THEY LEGIT. STRAIGHT UP. NEVER. DO ).
Tadashi hurted from it, he was sad. But that pain turned into fury. He's angry that they called him a dissapointment for doing what was right, for doing what was just. He can't believe they'd just LET that happen to him. They're own son they're own flesh and blood. Througha large protion of the game Tadashi will forever remain mad at his parents and doesnt' even want to think about them. He really hates dear old mother and father.

By the end of his journey and because of the kindness of his friends, and all the things he's developed & done & become he's learend to straight up not care about his parents. He doesn't care about their opinion on him. He's learned to live life his own way & try to not fit in to the standards of society or of anyone else. He's got his own family now, back in Shibuya who loves the true him :')
