every single performance with zac was a roller coaster, it always was and always would be. even their rehearsals could get pretty emotional, it was just how they were as dance partners. zac threw himself completely into the dance, it was as if he became an entirely different person when he danced with her, and shiah couldn’t help but follow suit. it was a very special connection, one she depended upon from time to time whenever she just need to feel and it didn’t matter if it wasn’t reality, it didn’t mater that it would go away after the music ended and their bodies stilled. there was always the next dance to look forward to with him. 

the music began as they waited on the stage where she had already performed a few times beforehand. she looked to him, closed her eyes, and waited for the stage to disappear beneath her feet. it melted away into sand, and then into water from where the sand came, and then it melted into the core of the earth, molten matter melting her and her partner, merging them as her eyes opened again and the dance began.

any and all thought of shiah was gone. she wasn’t shiah anymore, she wasn’t shannon, she simply was, and was apart of zac as well. just as he had, just as he always had, she lost herself completely, her mind blank, and she threw any and all capabilities of emotion into her movements. her heart exploded when they collided, her mind imploded when she sailed through the air, every movement impacted her in such a way that would stain her soul for eternity.

the music ended, and it had felt like a lifetime and only a moment, a blink and it was all over. she was sure there was applause but she couldn’t hear it, her senses solely focused on him and herself, and what they had just made together. it took many moments, maybe a whole minute before she could gather herself up and move to bow, and then she was collecting her phone and heading off the stage.

whenever they had these performances it wasn’t rare or uncommon even for her to bawl her eyes out afterwards. it was emotional, and the tears always managed to lead her back to herself. sometimes she asked to hold zac while letting the tears flow, sometimes she went off on her own. it wasn’t bad, in fact she rather liked the release. everyone needed a good cry every now and then to get the pent up emotion out, and that was one of the best things about being zac’s partner; she was able to let go of everything and bare her soul, cleanse it even, and do it all through the thing she loved most, dance.

    What was the goddess of the hearth and home doing in his cabin? Had she thought it to be unoccupied as many others did, despite the constantly flourishing flowers outside it, seeming to surround it with towering vines, and rows of flowers and earthly vegetation.  "I-- hey," greeted the half-mortal son of Gaia, something that many thought should never happen, and yet had.  "Is there somethin' I can help you with?" Though he was fairly sure Hestia rarely left Mount Olympus, he didn't question it.

                            wandered into the Gaia Cabin...

   Turning to look at the door which had been opened by the blond female, the son of Gaia gave a light smile, brown hues locking with blue.  "Oh- uh, hi." Zac greeted with a soft wave, hands a bit dirty with potting soil, the boy in fact standing in front of a plant he was repositioning in its pot.
